Came across this video today about Brandon Todd an American man who is 5 foot 5 inches tall. He discusses the challenges he faced growing up as a shorter man, his interest in basket ball and how he taught himself to dunk.

What struck me about the film was how Mr Todd talked about his lack of shorter male role models growing up. While their are sports where height isn't a big issue, it probably the case that the majority of famous sports men are on the taller end of the spectrum. I do have to wonder what this does to shorter young men and their feelings of self worth.
I must thank Mr Todd for all his efforts to redress the balance.
